Texas Hold-em

Well, we had our first tournament this past weekend. Between the weather, and the holidays it did not turn out quite as we had planned. We were hoping to raise around $2000.00 but we ended up with about $704.00. It was a learning experience and I want to thank Rob, Lupe, Karen, Mike, Bill, and Ryan for helping out with the shifts. It was easy work, and I believe we will do much better next time. The event was held at the all-in poker room in Sandusky. Our hosts Heather and Jerry were wonderful to work with. If you like to play, they are open 5:00 until 2:00 Thursday thru Sunday evenings. I think with a little advertising locally, our next event will be more profitable.
